    Root and Shaw have been sleeping together for a few months. Root wants more, and Shaw is unsure. When Root meets someone new, Shaw must figure out what she really wants.

    I wasn't too focused on keeping this in line with the show. It probably fits mostly within season 3 or maybe 4. A few things haven't happened yet. Shaw hasn't been captured. Samaritan is not fully online. They don't have new identities. However, they are working out of the subway. So I guess really it's a slightly alternate universe.

He is, of course, charming as ever and doesn't stop hitting on Shaw while asking if she'd like to join him for his new score. Root is snide the whole time he's there, growing increasingly more jealous and Shaw doesn't notice. She just humors Thomas and then agrees to do the job with him.

    Mixing up the POV between Root, Shaw & third person. I'm not a writer so I hope changing POVs isn't annoying to you guys - it's just more fun to write esp when I want to get beneath the surface of their relationship. Trying to stay close to character here, but still have some fun.
