    C3x38 Spoilers -

    After Bells Hells return to Whitestone from the Shadow Realm, a hospitable Vex’ahlia and weary but relieved Percy open their home to their guests to rest. Tension and emotion rang high as the threat of Delilah Briarwood’s return forced Percy and Vex to confront sides of themselves they thought they buried – Vex earning Bells Hells’ trust, only to position herself with an arrow aimed at a young woman’s heart, ready to strike if Pike’s spell failed; meanwhile, Percy assembled the Rifle Corp and Pale Guard outside Pike’s home with him prepared to take the fatal shot should Delilah emerge possessing Laudna’s body. That evening, after dinner, Percy, Vex, and Bells Hells discuss the found residuum and the Apogee Solstice.

    This one shot takes place after that discussion, as Vex and Percy seek out each other to relieve the day’s mounting stress.
