It was Jude. The edit was a compilation of recent match footage mixed with slow-motion pre-game tunnel walks, the lighting high-contrast and sharp. It caught Jude in a slow transition, pulling his jersey over his head after a tough game, the muscles of his broad back flexing perfectly under the bright stadium lights before cutting to a close-up of that arrogant, confident smirk he always wore when he knew the cameras were directly on him.
A sudden, violent jolt of heat shot straight down Pablo's spine.
Before his brain could even process the self-consciousness of it, his tail gave a sudden, sharp twitch. Then another. Within three seconds, it was thumping wildly against the mattress, wagging with an embarrassing, frantic speed that he couldn't control if he tried.

He crept down the hallway, fully expecting to find Pablo fast asleep or completely knocked out from a brutal week of training. Instead, as he pushed the bedroom door open, a very distinct, bright, upbeat children's theme song was echoing softly from the TV.
Jude stopped dead in the doorway.
Pablo was curled up in a nest of blankets, completely locked into the screen. On the display, an animated blue Australian cattle dog was bouncing across the screen.
