Keith murmured something into Lily's hair that Lance couldn't catch over the wailing—something low and soft and not meant to be overheard. Lily didn't stop crying, because she was four months old and completely uninterested in anybody's input, but she curled her small fist in the fabric of Keith's shirt with the particular grip of someone who is furious but also, ultimately, not going anywhere.
Truly, her father's daughter.
You absolute disaster, he thought, with sickly sweet tenderness. I love you so much its genuinely embarrassing.

Summary

Sasuke swallows, and even though I’m begging with my eyes for him not to, he lets go of me, and takes a step back. There’s a bulge in his pants. A bulge in his pants I put there. He walks backwards until he hits the opposite wall. He’s only four paces away, but it feels like an ocean of space between us.
We stare at each other, chests rising and falling.
"Sorry," Sasuke speaks first. “I’m just so fucking horny.”
If it weren’t for the circumstances, I’d laugh.
I sigh instead. “You and Sakura still haven’t-?”
“No.” Sasuke stares at me, red eyes tired and resigned. “She keeps saying she’s ready, and then backing out at the last minute.”
I pull my shirt back down. “When you say ‘at the last minute’...?”
He scoffs. “Like, last time I was ready to go; position and all.”
I nod again. I bite my lip. I try not to think of Sasuke, ready to go, position and all, over me. Fuck, I’d beg him to start. I’d beg him not to stop.
Naruto and Sasuke have come to some kind of mutually beneficial yet fucked up agreement. It gives Sasuke an outlet. It gives Sakura time. But what does it get Naruto other than further heartbreak?
