Oh what a perfect fic!! Ahdhjdhd I am the biggest Steddie fan but oh wow there is sooooo much potential in this ship!! The unsided or maybe foregone love??? The shared past?? The silent caring?!!
They one were something but they decided to go different paths and now they are strangers. But even if people tend to forget, it doesn't erase years of history. Tommy knows Steve. He formed him, in the only way he knew to protect him.

Maybe it's the little girl whose disappearance turned into a murder, and whose murder turned into a cold case, and who has now apparently decided to move in with him. Maybe it's the unacceptable hole left in his life when his dumb best friend and partner in (the prevention of) crime decided to go and get himself killed. Maybe it's his brother, whose high-profile career and fantastic girlfriend and first-child-on-the-way are steadily leaving Dean in the dust. Pick one. Pick all of them. The why doesn't matter so much as the what, and the what is this: Dean is pretty sure he's going completely, certifiably insane. Sure, he hasn't started wearing all his clothes inside out, and he still showers on a regular basis (anyways, that's not crazy, just a little eccentric); but there's no getting around the fact that he just threw away his life, his career, and his reputation by dragging out his mom's old necromancy book and summoning a Class A Forbidden Entity to his attic. A cranky one, too. With horrendous bed-head.

This was a whole new world. So magical and new. Everything was so well done that I kept asking myself if this universe is an already existing one like Harry Potter and if I am expected to know what a memitim is, but no, I guess it's just a very creative AU.
Dean as a police officer fits so well and the case was very interesting. While magic was integrated in their lives ghost haunting seemed to be new to Dean.
Oh how I loved Castiel. In the beginning he was so sassy and scary and powerful but bound. The moments he got free were impressive. When Dean saw his terrifying and beautiful true form.
The climax of the story with the Wall and the fight against Lilith and the combining with Cas was spectacular.
And oh how I squealed when Cas appeared in court. I'm glad he decided to stay with his pruney human.I knew there was sth between Dean and Benny. I'm sorry for his loss

Adult Dean too.This was filled with self hatred and internalised homophobia based on a lot of daddy issues.
I liked that the ending wasn't perfect. Because Dean will probably be impaired by his past for his whole life. But he can learn to deal with it. Cas can help.Respect for Cas. He was so patient and indulging. Even though Dean treating him like some pimp must have hurt a lot.
I wonder if Sam knew. For his sake I'm hoping not, even though Dean deserves the thanks.
I love Case Fics. They make the other plot strings so much more interesting

This was so PERFECT!!
A beautiful time travel fix it fic. Not only fixed it S15 Cas and gave those two pining grown men a deserved happy ending, it also paved the way for earlier seasons.
The ending made it even more genius because now it fits right into canon. Actually I decided that this in my new personal canon version. One of the final pushes that convince Cas to rebel against heaven.I love seeing the contrast between early Cas and later Cas. The way he interacts with people. His prejudices and his admiration for Deans soul
