He had been at the Institute so many times and his bapak literally invented Portals, so this should not be a problem. Things don’t go according to plan when he arrives there and notices that everything has changed and that the dad he wanted to get away from is actually there, but isn’t really himself.

Alec finds an injured Wolf when he is a child with a name tag stating Magnus. He cares for the Wolf who in turn protects him and becomes his best friend and support as he grows up.
