As the time went on Mu Qing started to lose his senses, he couldn’t hear anything other than the thunderous crack of the whip and it was dark enough that he really couldn’t see, not that he could if there was light given the blood loss and the concussion. At one point everything started to feel floaty other than the raging inferno on his spine. He wasn’t even sure if he was still breathing anymore. He couldn’t tell if he was still letting out little screams or if his body had given up.

Takes place pre-canon. Mu Qing and Feng Xin are both gods, they’ve started wandering around on adventures together as Fu Yao and Nan Feng. They’re maybe 50 or 60 years old now and discover a Sexy Cultivation Loophole when Feng Xin has to come down and scrape up a very shit-faced Fu Yao. A very soft and sexy clown show.
