Summary
Wooyoung had believed from a young age that he only had a bad heart.
Some pills, inhaler, oxygen masks– Wooyoung's made aware of its existence ever since he can remember.
He had hated it– for having a weak heart.
His only consolation was his parents’ story and the family legend that he stores close to his heart. To meet someone that he'll truly love and cure him of his disease. To meet someone who also loves him back so as to complete what was missing in his heart for it to function properly again.
But it was until he was eleven that he was comprehensive enough to understand that he was told of the fact that his heart ailment is a rather unique one– incurable even with today's modern innovations; but also contradicting with the family legend his parents would tell him every night because it was actually true and not some fairytale like story to cater to his childlike innocence.
Wooyoung will only be cured if he meets his true love.

If you ignore the fact that San is a CEO of a renowned technology company and a game live streamer with quite the following, he's just a normal(?) guy living comfortably (luxuriously) with his beloved cat Byeol.
And since there's already an unusual contrast about his choice of careers, it could also be worth mentioning that in his bland everydays, he also enjoys calling the house cleaning company. Weird? A little, but he loves talking to the lady who has been cleaning his apartment for a few years.
And just like any other day, he expects the lovely old lady to show up in his doorstep but only to be met with someone new– a lively and talkative one at that.
"–and I guess my mother wasn't lying when she said she's close with this one buff guy with sharp but handsome features but also has surprisingly cute eye smile and dimples. Her words, not mine, okay? “I said, will you move in with me?” San repeats.
Wooyoung heard it the first time; and the second time. But his sleep-addled brain was making him doubt his ears.
San is Wooyoung’s best friend. Or at least, that’s what they are called but Wooyoung had always wanted that to change.
To change, perhaps not as a best friend but the boyfriend.
And if this was a dream he is so sure that that statement would have also meant a marriage proposal for him and Wooyoung would answer ‘I do!’ in a heartbeat.

From a young age, everyone had expected for Wooyoung and San to present as omegas.
And Wooyoung had also believed it; but if San surprisingly presented as alpha then what?
Alphas and omegas can still be best friends alright, right? Wooyoung thinks that nothing will change; because they had been friends since they were young. A mere subgender won't change anything in their dynamics.

"Is Valentine's next Tuesday?!" Wooyoung frantically asks Seonghwa, dropping the garlands and putting his hands on his hyung's shoulders.
"Yes." Seonghwa answered, a little confused as Wooyoung is getting a little cryptic right now.
"What? Do you have a date? Who?" Seonghwa asks again.
Wooyoung's mind is running a mile a minute. Valentine's day is next week, Tuesday. And San asked him the other day to free his Tuesday next week. So does that mean that he was asked on a date? But San didn't clarify anything! Was Wooyoung supposed to assume it was a date? But what if San also didn't know it was Valentine's day? So it isn't a date after all?
"I have a date? Or not?" Came Wooyoung's confused answer to Seonghwa's question.
"What the hell?"
or, San tries baking and Wooyoung is there to taste all of his (failed) attempts.
