After the final battle, Hua Cheng stays with Xie Lian. It should be good. Xie Lian should be grateful. He should be happy.
Instead, he's terrified. Maybe it would have been easier for Xie Lian to believe in something he couldn't see than to trust in the strength of a silent, flickering ghost fire.
