Hirano loved him. He knew it. It was too severe to ignore. He loved him so much that being apart hurt. Seeing him sad was equally upsetting. Seeing him angry made him angry at the world for angering him. Seeing him happy made his heart overflow with joy. Hirano simply didn’t know how to express it. Kagiura made it so obvious that he was loved. Every word he spoke to him, every gesture made, dripped with a devotion so sweet Hirano feared his teeth would rot. While every word he spoke was entirely bland, and sometimes carried a hint of salt with it.
OR
Hirano gets better at touching but wrestles with his emotions in the process. Kagiura is glad to stay through it all.
