“Christ, Johnny. Don’t do this to me.” His words were rough, wavering. Weak.
“Do what, LT? Take care of you, the way you always take care of me?” He took the leap fully now, pressing his lips to Ghost’s jaw, still covered by the soft fabric of the balaclava. “Let me. I’ll be so good for you. No one else has to know.” He trailed his fingertips along Ghost’s shoulder, surely risking the attachment of that limb if he was reading this wrong.
He wasn’t, though. Ghost shivered beneath the touch and Soap leaned back to see his eyes drift closed behind his mask.
“Johnny. You’ve got to stop, because if you don’t, I can’t.”
“Then don’t.”
OR
Soap is willing to do whatever it takes, even if it involves a questionable course of action, in an effort to save his job.

He's got an entire team of knights to direct, a king and a prince who are hell bent on making his life as difficult as possible, and an incoming visit from the king of a neighbouring country that will surely plunge his next few months into complete chaos. He’d love a day off. Fuck, he’d love five minutes off.
Fate must have a dark sense of humour, because Ghost and Soap are about to collide.
