“What do you want, then?” he asked. Of course, he knew by now. But he had to hear Ranpo say it. He needed it like he needed air. Ranpo was closer now, and Poe could practically taste the sugar melting in his mouth.
Ranpo smiled. “I want you to tell me a story.”
Oh. “Then I suppose I’ll indulge you.”
