Summary
Yolanda gave her a look that prompted Trinity to open it. She moved with caution, undoing the zipper and looking in the bag. There was a box, but she didn’t have a good look at it so she pulled it out to see what it was and—
“Yolanda,” Trinity tried to hide the excitement that was embarrassingly creeping from her voice. “Did you—“
”Yes,” She said, looking far too amused with herself. “You said something a few weeks ago, so I thought…this.” She gestured to the box in front of them.

Summary
Trinity swears, grunting as blood makes its way down her neck and to her suit, mixing in with the dark red of it. She reaches up to remove her mask, her identity now safe in the consolation of Yolanda’s eminently organized and neat room. Trinity lowers her arms to her sides when suddenly a surge of pain shoots across her shoulder and torso. Trinity curses again and thinks to herself that some “spidey healing,” as Whitaker likes to call it, would be delightful right now.
“Trin?” Yolanda’s voice immediately causes calmness to wash over Trinity and makes her forget about the injuries that she had just received not even an hour ago. Trinity realized early on into their relationship that Yolanda always had that effect on her.

Summary
Yolanda’s face did something, a feature that Santos couldn’t exactly figure out. Santos, for all her glory at reading people, always had trouble trying to read Garcia, especially with how well she hides her feelings. Yolanda sighed before she spoke.
“I’m sorry, I just,” Her voice was shaky, that was the first thing Trinity noticed. “I couldn’t be alone tonight. It was a really rough fucking day and I—” She swallowed the lump in her throat, trying to stabilize her voice before continuing. “I needed to see you.”
