Neteyam's not sure why he is the way he is— why he gets so obsessive over Aonung to the point where he drags him away and has his way with the same person that pissed him off so badly just moments prior. He'd never done it before and certainly never had the urge like he does with Aonung. Like an itch that won't go away until it's Aonung that's clawing it away for him with beading tallies down his back as Neteyam drills into him.
He's an addiction he can't get over, caving the second Aonung comes his way looking for some fun. Neteyam always finds himself at the end of the night with Aonung pressed beneath him and calling his name.
If Aonung is a drug, Neteyam didn't know if he ever wanted to be sober.

Neteyam and Aonung have an odd rivalry. During the day, they rip each other to shreds. But come nighttime, it's a whole different story. Neteyam struggles to keep their relationship at what it is, but after each time, Neteyam finds himself wanting more than just Aonung's body.

Summary
Joaquín Torres is finally out of surgery after the missile incident, much to Sam’s relief. Without hesitation, Sam is by his bedside…but he hasn’t stopped to consider that he’s never seen what Joaquín is like under anesthesia before. He’s seen him hungry, angry, excited, tired, bored…but never loopy like this.
As for Joaquín, he’s never seen Sam be quite so emotional and vulnerable. But whether or not he remembers their post-surgery conversation and all the emotions that accompany it is another question altogether.Or: Sam is with Joaquín as he wakes up from surgery. Their conversation takes several interesting turns.
