Summary
Awe comes from aue, meaning both fear and reverence. To feel awesome means to feel deep veneration, wonder at a higher power... but it also means to feel deep dread. Unreserved terror at a higher power.
Here, then, was the awesome power of God: Dana Scully was going to live forever.
Tithonus-inspired fic in which the events of the episode made Scully immortal... and Mulder has come back as a ghost. A three-parter featuring:
1. Enough slow-burn to seriously impede the movement of a fully-grown horse;
2. Scully finally having kids and a family, like for actually;
