Summary
Every summer, Naruto visits the sleepy beach town of Oceanview. Easily the best part of the trip is the carnival, set up for three days at the end of August. As summers pass, Naruto finds himself coming back again and again to see the boy at the end of the boardwalk. First, he wants to win the game the boy runs, but it turns into wanting to win Sasuke's heart instead. For some reason, Naruto just can't get him out of his head.

I sobbed. Oh my god my heart. I can’t take it oh my god. I get why sasuke said he runs cold now. Genuinely this was so well written and beautiful but it broke my heart. I’m so sad that they can’t be with each other fully I don’t know how to describe this. 10/10, my heart hurts so bad. I can’t comment on the fic but to the author, this fic was so beautiful I wish I had the words to rave on and on about this fic. I’m at a loss for words. It’s so well written but so heartbreaking, my face is stained with tears and my heart omg. This was just such a good fic, I wish I could comment and just rave about it more, despite the heartache

The only reason Sasuke keeps coming back to Konoha is because of that mattress. The bed is his only respite. And perhaps the dumbass who owns said bed might be worth it, too.
Or, another canon divergence 699 that showers Sasuke with too much (deserved) love and attention that we all need for these unprecedented times.
Title means "Bonded Light". It'll make sense when you're about 100K in.

oh my god this has to be perhaps the best fic I've ever had the privilege of reading. The writing was so good, it was logical and smoothly flowed and was just overall amazing. The plot was so good and the complexity of sasuke was so well done. there aren't enough words to explain how beautiful this piece of art was. oh my gosh. i love it so much. holy crap. this fic holds a special place in my heart now.
