"Yes Mister Paris..." Janeway replied, rising to her full height and watched painfully as Tom's eyes finally drifted down her body to the swell of her pregnant stomach, "...We did."
What if Janeway was still pregnant when the Doctor turned her back to human again? What if they never abandoned the lizard children? What if Tom Paris is just a little bit in love with his boss? A story which started off as something silly to celebrate my first ever Threshold day which has evolved (pun intended) into something a little deeper.

Not when the stupid piece of plastic has the clearest and brightest 2 lines she’s ever seen. She doesn’t have much to go by, she’s never actually taken a pregnancy test before, but there’s no mistaking it for anything but what it is. Of course her first time would be now: at 43 years old and in the middle of trying to save humanity from extinction. Of course.
