  Summary

  Domenego Scandella, also known as Menocchio, was arrested and tried for heresy - for the second time - at the end of the 16th century. The trial reports and letters give us a glimpse into his life.
  Entirely based on the research of Carlo Ginzburg (Il formaggio e i vermi, or: The Cheese and the Worms), but I did take some creative liberties.
