Summary
Eddie’s scars are beautiful, a fact that you can’t help repeating every time you see his body. He’s got the plethora of gnashes and bites from the bats, and he’s got a few others too. Small inconsequential scars from scraping his knees as a child or the bigger, more jagged ones his father left him for being something he deemed unacceptable. An abomination, something to just throw out and forget ever existed, which is exactly what he did. Eddie claims he’s better for it, anyway. He tells everyone the same story, but from a triumphant point of view instead. He says he got the sexiest girlfriend out of the equation, so what could be bad about that?
You have no complaints, though. He’s the sexiest human being on earth in your opinion, so you figure you actually won in this scenario, but he’d never agree. The scars are too deep, too many. He used to think he didn’t have the body he was supposed to have, but you know he’s perfect exactly the way he is and somehow you’ve got him starting to believe it’s true with the way you treat and act around him.
It’s a fact he’s constantly reminded of, especially when it’s his turn to do all the laundry.

Keigo's been the center of attention plenty of times, and has certainly had a lot of people ogling him, vying for his attention. It's become one of his favorite feelings, being the center of attention after being a poor kid that has nothing to one of the more respected artists of his trade was never something he could have hoped for. But the way he feels when Dabi looks at him is nothing like he's felt before, he feels like his going to catch fire. Like he's willing—needs to burn down all the class and polish Keigo has spent years learning and refining. And Keigo just might let him if he'll keep looking at him like that.
Or Dabi and Keigo make a bet to see which one can outdo the other.
