    Ilya felt his eyebrows furrow in confusion as he brought his gaze back to the collar in his hands. It was soft, with a black and white checkered pattern. The metal clasp was silver, and reflected brightly in the over head lights of the locker room. He turned it around in his hand, studying, looking for anything that would explain why there was soft snickers being thrown around between his teammates.

    That is when the tag on the collar caught his eye; it was silver and in the shape of a dog bone. Ilya lifted the collar closer to his face, eyes squinting as he tried to read the thin carved letters. It was then, with the smell of nylon and sweat filling his nose, that Ilya realized that he wasn’t above murder.

    Buck is Bobby's nephew and came to live with Bobby and Marcy at 12 years old after Danny and Mads moved out of the house. Someone called CPS and Evan was removed from the house to be raised by Bobby and Marcy. This is that story, Bobby Jr (RJ) and Brooke (B) survive the fire and live with their cousin Danny for a while well their dad and Buck become who they are. Chapter 1 is the story of Buck (Evan) growing up with Bobby, Marcy, Danny, and Kira (Danny's amazingly kickass girlfriend) caring for him. Maddie is still there as well, but more a s a background character in the first few chapters. Buck and Eddie will get together, but it's gonna be a few chapters before he's even introduced. I will try and follow most major plotlines, but it is told more in snap shots then flowing scenes. Please be aware of this! There is a mention of some Lonestar characters in here as well.

    Buck saves Chris, but doesn't save herself, and is taken out to sea.
    Stuck on an island alone, pregnant she has to try to survive for her and her baby.
    Eddie has to mourn his only love.
    No major death, presumed dead.
    Alternating POV

    "The water," Christopher cried, his voice pitching up into hysteria. "She fell off the ambulance! I tried to grab her, Dad, I tried! But she yelled at me to stay! She yelled at me and then the water took her!"

    Eddie stared at his son. He felt like he had been hollowed out with a spoon. The water took her.

    "Did she... did you see her get up?" Eddie asked, gripping the chair arm a little too tight. "Did she swim to to safety?"

    "No," Christopher wailed. "She didn't come back to me! She didn't come back! I couldn't see her."

    No. No, absolutely not. She is Evi Buckley. She survived a ladder truck bombing. She survived a tracheotomy. She survived a pulmonary embolism. She does not die in a wave.

    "Dad?" Christopher was looking at him, terrified. "Is Bucky dead?"

    “Get backup here,” comes the order over the comms. “Everyone we can spare.”
    “That won’t be necessary,” says Buck as the associates come towards him. He points to the two cameras, one button and one in his hair at the edge of his hairline. “I can show you where the cameras are. The earpiece I have will pick up the conversation nicely.”

     

    Or the one where Buck grew up as the favorite son of one of the Five Families of the Cosa Nostra. And he doesn't like others playing in his sandbox.
