Summary
It was inevitable. Inevitable that Yugi would fall in love with Atem, the spirit he shared his very mind and body with. It was inevitable that he would one day have to fulfil his duty. The duty of helping the Pharaoh restore his memories, to end the 3000 year struggle. To face Atem in the ceremonial duel.
The story continues, but an unforeseen consequence of the ceremonial duel has a profound affect on Yugi's soul. Something that neither Yugi or Atem could have predicted. Yugi is left to try and pick up the pieces, to rebuild himself in the aftermath. Atem is left with a dilemma, knowing that his choices will lead to lasting consequences for both of them. Those choices will extend beyond solely themselves, with an unforeseen equation coming into the fray, complicating everything for Yugi.

Summary
Anderson was a well-known subject in their house. He was one of the junior Preventers Duo had been tasked to train in recent months. Usually, Duo worked on assignments with Wufei in the field, but Commander Une had started pushing them to share their knowledge and skill sets with other agents. Something about legacy planning. Which was hilarious since the three ex-Gundam Pilots who worked with the Preventers hadn't even reached their 30s yet. Most of the time, it was fine and Duo would come home with stories of how amazing his new batch of ducklings were. How fast this agent was, or how smart that other agent was—but not Anderson. He was, by Duo's estimation, a total and complete waste of space.
