Summary
Agatha Harkness had built her life on control, thirty, successful, living high above the city in a glass-and-marble apartment that gleamed with proof of her accomplishments. Yet despite her curated world, every date felt the same: predictable, uninspired, fleeting. When Agatha’s date arrived at the door of her apartment, she always looked toward her doorwoman for assessment. If there was anyone with sharper eyes for people, it was Rio Vidal, unflappable, observant, and disarmingly perceptive.
It wasn’t until she started paying attention to the woman holding the door that Agatha began to wonder whether she’d been looking in the wrong direction all along.

Summary
When her girlfriend of three months asked her who her hall pass was, Agatha thought it was a stupid hypothetical at best, a TikTok trend she had no interest in humouring.
When her wife of barely a month uses her own hall pass to sleep with her boss, Agatha knows it's a stupid idea, used to justify a heart wrenching betrayal that she forgives out of her own desperate need to be loved.
And suddenly, she's looking for an opportunity to cash in her own.
Rio Vidal, lead singer of Coven, and Agatha's favourite artist for a decade, won't know what hit her when Agatha gets a ticket to Coven's latest show in Westview.

Summary
“We got engaged?”
Rio looks at her, puzzled. Her eyes dart back and forth between Agatha’s.
“You remember?” Rio asks carefully.
Holy shit. She’s engaged to Rio.
She’s engaged to Rio.
Her heart feels like it’s about to give out and that burning in her ribs feels like fire.
When did this happen?
“Not really but I guess it makes sense.” She’s barely able to hear the words leave her mouth over the beating of her own heart.
“So you remember Wanda?” Rio asks dejectedly. Agatha frowns, confused all over again.
“Wanda?” She repeats. “Who’s Wanda?”
—————————
Agatha wakes up in hospital with amnesia after a car accident and immediately jumps to the very logical but extremely wrong conclusion about her best friend. As she tries to piece together her life with memories of Rio and no one else, she’s forced to ask herself an important question:
Why did she agree to marry the wrong person?

Summary
Agatha and Rio are friends.
Just friends.
Or at least they were, until one drunken night when they went from being 'just friends' to 'friends who occasionally fuck each other's brains out'.
Because when has that ever ended badly before?

Summary
“I just don’t understand where it’s coming from.”
“You know where it’s coming from,” Agatha muttered.
Rio scoffed. “Because I won’t let you fuck me? It’s not my fault I have a girlfriend.”
“Yes, it is!” Agatha shouted. “Why the fuck do you have a girlfriend?”
Rio couldn’t count on her fingers how many times they’d had this argument.
“Because I’m in love with-”
“No, you’re not,” Agatha cut in. “You know you’re not.”
OR: Agatha inviting her friends to stay on her estate the summer before they graduate from Oxford is a good idea...right? Who cares if her best friend Rio brought her girlfriend with her? Who cares if you both know she'd rather be with you...?
