The thing is, Beomgyu gets nightmares.
It’s not anything new for him, just something to deal with when he gets a little too stressed out by the world and every shitty thing the world makes it a point to throw specifically at him. It’s not like he enjoys it, or like he’s complacent to it, but it’s gotten easier over time.

Summary
Beomgyu knew that there was always the chance he would get to see his friends, his true and wonderful best friends, again. He knew there was no chance that they would completely forget about him, or that they wouldn’t want to see him if he reached out. At some point, though, Beomgyu (or maybe it was his boyfriend) had gotten it into his head that they were worlds apart now. Summary
Jisung knew that Mihno had friends outside of their small group. That he had good friends from dance, that he was a reasonably well-known figure on campus.
He just hadn’t seen it before.
He hadn’t seen them surrounding him with their charismatic smiles, their confident energy, their comfort in their own skin and the bustling party environment that Jisung had to force himself to even show up to. They looked perfect, they looked like everything that Jisung knew he could never keep up with. Minho looked like he belonged with them, like he was made for this rather than for laying around on Jisung’s bed in a too-big hoodie and hidden away from the rest of the world.
Jisung had never felt more selfish.

He saw the strongest Jujutsu Sorceror, he saw the Six Eyes, he saw the way Satoru’s eyes lit up at every Lego store they passed, he saw the way Satoru looked longingly at the families in the parks they passed, and he saw the way that Satoru’s face turn pink every time their hands brushed.

That was something Suguru was completely, utterly, unprepared for.
OR, Satoru is trapped in sensory deprivation and believes Suguru won't come to save him. Suguru proves him wrong.
