Summary
Here's what Sabo never tells anyone.
He dreams of two young faces, blindingly radiant in the dark. He knows they matter to him somehow, but when he tries to look at them, it’s as if a hot blade slices through his mind, and they vanish beyond his sight.
Sabo has never loved anything in his life the way he loves these two faceless strangers. And he has never grieved for anything the way he grieves for them.
He doesn’t even know who they are.

Summary
Sabo opens his eyes and feels his body burning as if he were being buried alive in flames. He can't hear his own voice, but he knows he isn't screaming, as he is trying with all his might to force oxygen into his lungs. Someone is calling his name, he is sure of it, but his ears feel stuffed with cotton, and he can’t think straight through the pounding headache.
— abo... Sabo! — The voice finally breaks through the haze of his mind, startling him, unexpectedly drawing oxygen into his lungs and making him cough.
His body moves with an aching soreness as he pushes himself up from the wooden... floor? Where he had been lying; perhaps he had fallen out of bed. His gaze drifted to the person who had awakened him, and his mind went completely blank.
— You're not one to oversleep, Bo. Do you feel sick? — A young and very much alive Ace murmured, looking down at him with a frown and crossed arms.

Summary
Misinformation courteousy of the papers has spread the lie of Ace’s death across the Grand Line, but while he did survive his ordeal at Marineford, it's decided that hiding his identity for the sake of training secretly is his best option.
Unfortunately, the only one skilled enough to take him on as a student is a member of the terrorist organization known as the Revolutionary Army. Ace is less than happy about the situation, but has little choice but to seek the revolutionaries out for sanctuary.
When he does find them, he in fact finds more than just a teacher.
A reunion he never thought possible, never even dared to imagine because it simply hurt too much — but he's not the only one in pain, and seeing the extent of his childhood friends suffering terrifies him.
How is he supposed to protect Sabo from the ghosts that haunt him when everyone is claiming he's forgotten ten years of his life?
How was Ace supposed to help if Sabo didn't even remember him?

Summary
Open bars make people honest, that's Ace's whole theory. Enough free champagne, one good game of truth or dare, and his best friend of twenty years will finally admit what he wants.
Sabo's theory is simpler: Ace is messing with him. Ace is always messing with him.
