“Ya never seen a uniform ‘fore?” He did a little spin to show off his outfit.
“But it’s not yer uniform.” Zanka leaned his back against the counter and watched Jabber with an unamused expression. “Ya ain’t got a job.”
“I started yesterday.” It sounded more like a question than a statement.
“An’ changed ya name ta ‘Deryl’?” Jabber crowded his space by placing a hand on either side of him, effectively caging him in. The last rays from the evening sun shone through the window and onto his shirt. It made the horrendous red color practically glow, which irritated Zanka’s eyes. He averted his gaze up to escape the color but was met with the just-as-bright underside of Jabber’s cap. Maybe if he glared hard enough the cap would burst into flames…
Zanka is supposed to be babysitting Rudo when a certain someone decides to pay him a visit.

Summary
Zanka Nijiku is a freshly graduated psychology student.
Fresh out of school, it is time for him to get his first real job as a psychologist.He takes on a job at a psychiatric hospital, where he gets assigned a key patient, a particularly difficult patient.
Jabber Wonger is this difficult patient.
Hes been in and out of the institution since very early on in his childhood.Upon meeting, they didn’t think much of eachother.
Zanka saw a challenge, not a person. A patient to help who others had claimed was unable to be helped.
And Jabber saw just another know it all doctor, who’d pretend to understand him and of all that bullshit.
But they couldn’t have been more wrong about eachother.

Summary
“J?” Zanka knocked on the apartment door, slightly frantic as his mind had managed to wind him into the worst possible outcomes while he had driven.
The only comfort up until now had been that Zanka, being who he was, always thought of the worst scenarios, that wasn’t new — so he could just barely use the ‘you’re just overthinking again’ excuse, even as it rotted to dirt.
No reply came, so with an even harder knock, he called out again. “Jabber!”

Summary
Zanka is a physics major and a competitive athlete—a pole vaulter.
Jabber is a toxicology student in chemistry who is way too comfortable with dangerous substances and even more comfortable testing them on himself.They keep ending up in the same places, even though they probably shouldn’t.
Zanka, Tamsy, Riyo, and Follo, along with a few other students, formed a small university club called the Cleaners. Their group explored “restricted zones” in the city, such as old buildings and abandoned areas. In the club, their philosophy was absolute: leave every location exactly as it was found.
On the other hand, there was a rival club called the Raiders. They also visited the same restricted places, but they had a different goal. For them, an exploration was not complete unless they took something from the place as a souvenir—They made it a point to scavenge or steal physical mementos from every location they breached.
