Xiao Xingchen looked beautiful when he slept.
Before Song Lan had gotten him pregnant, Song Lan rarely ever had the chance to stare at his soft, peaceful features in the mornings. Baoshan Sanren had raised Xiao Xingchen a very early riser, so despite how early Song Lan woke up compared to other people, he'd always open his eyes to Xiao Xingchen's huge brown eyes glancing up pleadingly at him, like a puppy begging to be taken on a walk. Once they'd started dating, he'd refuse to leave the bed until Song Lan did.
Today, though, ten weeks into pregnancy, he was even snoring and drooling a little on Song Lan's chest. And he no longer had those brilliant, round, soft brown eyes to blink at Song Lan.
