He watched as Shouto climbed out of the car, closing the door with control as not to slam it. He sped his way towards the backseat and swung the door open before kneeling down out of sight for what felt like a lifetime. He only understood what happened as Shouto stood up from his spot with a child on his hip whose face was buried against his neck. Shouto looked up at Katsuki, still leaning over the banister of their small iron balcony, and held up a heavy plastic bag dripping with the token grease of takeaway. “I got us dinner.” He said, just loud enough to not shock the overtired preschooler leaning into his chest.
And a fucking toddler. Katsuki almost called back.
Or; Newlyweds Katsuki and Shouto get a couch the same day they get a kid.

“I’ve been trying to get your attention,” Shouto says. He’s not usually embarrassed or nervous, but he thinks if he said this any other day, he would be. Today, he’s too ticked off to feel anything other than frustration. “For so long, because you won’t even look at me, and I -- I miss it. I want you to look at me, ever since that mission, ever since before that, and I’m doing everything I can for a reaction—”
Bakugou spins, almost too quick to see, and suddenly Shouto’s back is being slammed up against the wall of lockers, and Bakugou is leaning in close, breathing heavily.
“You want a reaction?” he demands. His eyes are just burning now. No embers, just open flame. “I’ve been trying to hold myself back, you fuckin’ asshole, and you want a -- you want a goddamn reaction?”
“I want you,” Shouto corrects, stubborn and staring him right in the eyes, even pinned against the lockers.
Shouto finally asks why Bakugou’s been acting different. He gets an answer, kind of, and so much more.
