As if I’d ever jump into bed with someone like him, she grumbled inwardly, chewing on her thumbnail. In fact, if she had to choose, Dean would be on the very bottom of her list - and he’d be fucking staying there, now, after his little stunt.
Not that she had a list or anything. It wasn’t smart to get distracted while you were on the job, and that definitely included hopping into bed with your crew. They couldn’t really afford that kind of misstep, not with this mark.

Not that it had earned him any favours with the royal party, although it had certainly earned him a few snickers from the servants and the queen herself, once upon a time. But the thought of the queen asking him for advice beyond royal accords felt strange to him.
Well, there was nothing he was not willing to do for his queen. Anything else would be treason.

CHAPTER 3: Hermione asks Draco to stop occluding. Theo 'kidnaps' Hermione and gives her some tough love. Draco tells her the moment he knew he was in love with her.
CHAPTER 5: Hermione realizes her memories might be irreparable. Draco realizes she's re-met Theo. Draco and Hermione go on a date and kiss.
CHAPTER 6: Draco gets rejected (again) for the potions master job. Theo kidnaps Hermione again and tells her that Pansy is back. Pansy is waiting at the flat and helps Hermione with her wardrobe and tells her that it's Draco's birthday. Hermione kisses Draco and offers the bed, but Draco denies it.
CHAPTER 7: Draco and Hermione visit Harry and Ginny. Draco tells Hermione how/why he was disinherited and tells her he loves her; she tells him that her memory loss may be irreparable. He goes with her to her next healer appointment. Draco reveals his research. The two of them go to Nott Manor for Friday drinks.
CHAPTER 8: Draco and Hermione go to Albus's birthday party. Draco gives Hermione a secret signal, and they sneak off to a hallway to make out. Harry catches them. Everyone vomits confetti. Draco tells Hermione the story of how they broke up briefly.
CHAPTER 9: Hermione asks for her ring. Draco takes her to the vineyard where he proposed for her birthday. They go back to their flat and have sex. Hermione tells him to give up the research. He refuses.
CHAPTER 10: There's tension between Draco and Hermione as he refuses to give up. Harry announces that Ginny is pregnant. After asking everyone for pensieve memories and being rejected, Hermione visits Draco at his potions shop to ask if she's enough without the memories. He in turn asks her if he has a chance of her love without them. She confesses that she already loves him. They have sex. Hermione realizes she lost her memory in the guest room. She opens it and it explodes.
CHAPTER 11: Hermione wakes up at St. Mungo's. Theo has been arrested, but Harry and Hermione destroy the arrest report. In the restored flat, Harry reveals that their friends reconstructed the sofa.
CHAPTER 12: Christmas 2012. The Malfoys send a letter stating Draco's trust has been dissolved and formed into accounts for his children. Draco uses the potion on his Dark Mark. Both Draco and Hermione make a list of the people who helped them in the first year after she lost her memories. -
