Summary
“Did you adopt a cat?” Shane asked, before he could get distracted.
“No.” Rozanov gave him a look. “I gave you a concussion this afternoon?”
“There’s a kitten outside.” Shane nudged his shoes off. “It followed me into the elevator.”
Rozanov’s eyebrows flew up, and he dashed to the door. The kitten was still there, and Rozanov scooped it up with one hand, cradling it to his chest. The kitten looked as alarmed as Shane felt.
“So you did get a cat,” he said.
“No, Hollander. This is not mine,” Rozanov said, waving the kitten at him.

Summary
Obviously he didn’t need to be nervous about going over to Eddie’s after work. The previous night was tangible proof that Eddie liked the way he looked and wanted to fuck him. He totally had the upper hand, and anyway, it was Eddie. Not that Steve didn’t think he was great or anything, because he did, but Eddie was a bigger nerd than anyone Steve knew, not scary at all.
So it was weird that he was a nervous fucking wreck.

Summary
Once upon a time, Ilya had put a pretty girl in the passenger seat of his Porsche and fingered her while he pushed 120 down the interstate. He’d kissed drunk boys in seedy European clubs. He’d been impossibly hot, impossibly cool.
Moreover, he was impossibly ill-prepared for the dizzying experience of being Shane Hollander’s boyfriend. Because Shane was turning out to be a really good boyfriend, the kind that quietly handled expensive restaurant checks, the kind that made soup when he was sick and held open his coat for him.
Ilya basically had no choice but to get hard about it.
Or: a 5+1 of Ilya versus Shane’s boyfriendisms, told over the years.

John's #1 Parlay of the Day @johnchukbetzone
I'll leave it to others to argue whether the relationship should even be permitted by the league. But vital information was concealed from bettors by failing to disclose when it started. Hollander & Rozanov may have allowed billions of dollars to be wagered under false pretenses.storrowed by ilya @storrowed_by_ilya
I really should have known that the people with the absolute most deranged and late-stage capitalism reactions to the Rozanov/Hollander relationship would be online sports gamblers. You got me there. That one's on me.Halfway through Shane and Ilya’s first season playing together in Ottawa, an online sports betting company figures out how to make itself the main character when it comes to social media’s new favorite topic.

Summary
When Ilya answers, he’s greeted with a whimpered moan that goes straight to his head, leaving him reeling like he’s just thrown back another shot. His mouth drops open, the cigarette dangling stupidly from his lower lip for a second until he plucks it free with his other hand.
Holy fuck. He must be dreaming. But the rough breaths filtering into his ear are too real, tethering him tightly to the moment.
“Jane,” he murmurs, gleeful and shocked. “This is not like you.”
*
Or: after Shane confesses that he can struggle to get off if he's too stressed, Ilya suggests he should just call him next time. He doesn't think Shane would ever be desperate enough to go through with it.

Summary
Yuna semi-accidentally reads some texts from "Lily" to her son, and comes to exactly the right conclusion. What she does with that conclusion might or might not also be the right thing.
OR:
Yuna knocks crisply on the giant metal door, and moments later the man himself throws it open. Rozanov is shirtless and smirking in low-slung Adidas sweats. Then he sees her, and the smirk drops into a shell-shocked gape. He goes, eloquently, “uhhh…”
Yuna gives him a narrow-eyed once-over. She doesn’t… not see what Shane might be attracted to. “Thank you for meeting with me,” she says, and uses the ostentatious size of his doorway to slide past him and into his open-plan kitchen. “I think we have some things to talk about.”

Summary
Shane loves his boyfriend so much he wants to eat him alive. Or baby the fuck out of him. After a night of thinly maintained self-restraint at the cottage, he thinks Ilya will probably be more open to the latter.
