Summary
“You still talk to him?” Steve’s hushed question comes out more like an accusation, shaved down and sharp.
“I raised him...” Wayne’s eyes shine with something that Steve refuses to let rise in himself, "like he was my own. I love him, despite everything. I couldn’t leave him then, and I can’t now. You gotta try to understand, he had a rough go of it, with his past…Eddie never got the chance to know his father. And when Lyle got out of prison, came back to him, askin him for help, he felt like he had to. He just…he...”
Steve’s fist clenches as Wayne trails off.
Eddie didn’t choose them.
Didn’t choose Steve.

Summary
Steve knew it wasn’t like, the healthiest thing to do. But it became part of his routine, doing a sort of patrol once a month. Taking phone calls from the others who had moved away and moved on with their lives. And some part of him liked being the one who was here.
The one who was making sure. Keeping watch.
It was the third Friday of the month again, in April of 1992, at the dingy Hideout where he starts this morbid vigil of Hawkins, that he sees Mike Wheeler.
Mike fucking Wheeler. At the bar. Drinking a beer.

Summary
It's funny to think that Steve’s picture-perfect yuppie life was instantly changed when Robin picked up a phone.
And called a call girl.
But somehow Steve's the one with a call guy at his house, by name of Eddie.
Eddie's all sexy smiles and mischief and Steve can't help but lose himself. A series of increasingly crazy events with Eddie lead him into somehow hosting a one-night-only pleasure house to get Eddie's friends paid and Steve's senior class laid.
And he's really just way too high for what happens next.

Summary
“You’re being weird,” Chrissy said. “With Steve.”
Eddie sighed and tossed the rag aside. “I’m not being weird. The kid’s just… suspicious, okay? Nobody shows up in a spotless Beemer, looking that good, just to take a desk job in this dump for minimum wage. He’s digging for something, I can feel it.”
Chrissy raised a brow. “Digging for what, exactly?”
He hesitated. “Hell if I know. Me?”
She stared, then snorted. “Right. The feds finally figured it out. Send in some pretty boy in tight jeans to make you confess.”
Eddie tried not to smile, and failed completely. “You joke, but that’s exactly how they’d get me.”
“Damn right it is.”

Okay, not actually all my Stranger Things fics. (You can find all of them by just clicking on my profile and filtering my works by fandom.) These are, primarily, Steve-centric fics, mostly featuring him being the god-tier babysitter to the Party that he is.

Summary
Eddie and Steve didn't fight. It wasn't an official rule they'd written down somewhere, stuck on the fridge between the chore chart and the grocery list. Yet by a certain point, it simply felt like a rule of the universe, the ones that governed space and time and held together the sun and moon and stars.
Max allowed that to comfort her; coming home every day to Steve and Eddie's at most playful bickering allowed her to find solid land when everything around her was spinning out of control.
Naturally, when she heard the shouting, her stomach turned to lead.

Summary
“My Abuela said it,” Silvio insists. “She said you have to wear the hat, because you have a pale ass so you’re going to get skin cancer and die before Lance even wakes up.”
Keith looks between the children and the hat, too confused to glare, sweaty and horrid from pulling weeds beneath the scorching sun. “What?”
“That’s wrong,” Nadia complains, and yanks her brother down to her level to whisper the correction in his ear.
“Ooh,” Silvio amends. “Tía Veronica said you have a pale ass. My Abuela said you’re gonna die.”

Summary
Lance gave up the chance to make a difference by giving up the Red Lion. He gave up his chance to be a hero. What he wants now is just to go home. He'll protect Earth and his family from the Galra as best he can when he gets there. That's his top priority now.
And sure, he stole the opportunity to make this decision from Keith, and maybe that's not fair.
But whatever. If Keith was going to make the wrong choice, Lance wasn't going to give him one.
