Summary
The woman looked aghast as she stumbled onto the bench beside him, hand over her eyes in what seemed to be physical pain. Yeseo panicked, wondering if he might have said something so wrong as to merit such an extreme reaction. This was the first time he had ever spoken of this aloud to anyone—not even Wilhelmina herself (he certainly had not yet mustered the courage to)—so to prompt a stranger like so did not fill him with confidence at all.
“What… What is wrong? Is it not a good plan? Are you alright?”
“You are a child,” the woman mumbled deplorably, leaning back as far as she could against the backrest. “You are really nothing more than a child…”
“I am six-and-ten years of age,” Yeseo argued weakly, but through the gaps of the woman’s fingers he could see her shooting a most wretched glare, and so Yeseo obediently shut his mouth, hands folding into his lap.
Queen Christanne Venetiaan by the Grace of God and Lord Werner of the Most Noble House of Sneijder are officially betrothed.
Grand Duchess Judith Kamminga, collateral relative of the Venetiaan Royal Family, does not approve.

Zoro doesn’t say it aloud, but he’s starting to get the sense that they don’t have a lot of things in Germa. To the point that he has no idea how a place like that could produce a person like Sanji, and he’s not sure he wants to learn.

“I,” Sanji freezes, looking caught out. “I’m just me,” he says weakly, fluttering his hands in a dismissive motion. “I don’t know how to be anything else.”
“Yes, even if it might make your life easier, I suspect,” Ushimaru replies. “As I said - interesting.”
Now looking actively nervous, Sanji shoots a pleading look in Zoro’s direction, his request for help plain.

“Why?” Zoro demands again, his good eye flashing. “All I’m doing is stating facts, so what’s so bad about that?”
Sanji shudders, struggling to maintain control of his emotions as he’s hit with what seems like a thousand different feelings at once. “What’s bad about it is that you make it sound like - sound like - ”
“Like what?” Zoro says. “Like I care about you?”“Yes,” Sanji rasps, horrified to realize in that moment that - regardless of what Zoro may or may not feel - he himself is definitely feeling something. Something that’s going to make things a thousand times worse when he has to pull away. “Yes, exactly like that.”
“Good,” Zoro says sharply. “Because I do, and you deserve to hear it. Even if it’s not the same on your end, that’s fine, but you - !”
Initiating the kiss is simultaneously one of the stupidest and most fulfilling things Sanji’s ever done in his life. Overcome with emotion, he grabs Zoro by the front of his yakuta and hauls the swordsman in so he can crush their mouths together.
