"Sweet Jesus," is all Dick can manage to croak out before trying to get himself engaged enough to turn right back around and stumble back out into the hallway. Somewhere in the steps he makes toward the door and the hallway, Jason lets out an undignified sound of terror, presumably at being found in such a compromising position.

Suffering through so many heats alone has left Jason's body unbalanced, and ignoring his doctor's warnings for years has finally caught up to him.
If he doesn't find an alpha to share his next heat with, he'll go into cardiac arrest and die. Again.

Ever since Jason unintentionally showcased his attraction to Dick during an undercover mission, he’s been living in a personal hell full of pun-based flirtation, shirtless gym selfies, and the bone-deep knowledge that, despite his jokey flirting, Dick will never actually want him back. It’s a shame no one else in their lives seems to understand it.
