Summary
The problem did not begin when predator found prey and fed upon it. The problem did not even begin when the predator became alarmed and had to let the prey go again lest it was caught by the predator's own predators. The problem did not begin when the predator made its existence known in this strange land (these things have existed always) nor did it begin when the prey made its foolish decision - turn right, not left - why right? don't know, haven't time, just do it and hope you've picked correctly (you haven't) nor did it begin when the prey made its truly foolish decision - why not join the army? I don't know what else to do with my life (anything, do anything else, anything at all).
The problem, as with many things in Arthur's line of work, began rather with the end. Not his. But we'll start at the beginning.

Summary
They were supposed to be rivals. On the surface, they are — two drivers locked in relentless battle, each crash and victory a headline. But behind the cameras and noise lies something far heavier: silence, bruises, and the secrets they can’t outrun.
Lewis hides behind composure, every scar on his body a mark of restraint. Max is consumed by shame, bound to the violence of his father and a desire he cannot name. When they collide, it is more than racing—it is obsession, punishment, and the fragile grace that binds cruelty to tenderness.
In the end, the greatest danger isn’t on the track, but in what they might finally admit to each other.

Summary
Roger spends over 2,000 hours a year with his feet off the ground, and still he can’t imagine not wanting to go faster and further than ever before. The sky itself is a concord; a union. Boundaries cease to exist. Borders aren’t visible from the top of the world.
Maybe that’s what keeps him from coming down—something about watching the sunset through a tiny oval window, something about the constant shaking of the plane around him and the world extending below him. Maybe it’s something about the simplicity of it, but Roger is a man with his eyes on the prize, and the coolest planes are the fastest ones.

Summary
"Between mine and Fred's, mine's the biggest. It's no double, but you're skinny, so it should be fine." Roger states happily.
John looks over at the small room. Clothes on the floor, posters on the low ceiling, and the single bed pressed up against the wall.
Yeah, his thoughts echo. Totally fine.
