Summary
It started wrong—Felix wasn’t transferred, he was taken, passed from Australia to Korea like something disposable and forced to survive by learning to fight, to win, to become dangerous.
So when he collided with Hwang Hyunjin—bruised, bleeding, still standing—it wasn’t a rescue, it was something far worse, and neither of them walked away the same.

Summary
“If I were there with you right now, holding that chain… would you want a slap? To feel the stinging heat against your cheek from my large hand while you look me dead in the eye? Do you like what you're picturing?”
Felix snaps his eyes open, releasing a sharp gasp of shock. The mere idea of the slap feels
practically real against his skin, and though he had never once considered it before, thinking about Hyunjin’s massive hand—just the mental image alone—makes his erection pulse wildly against his palm.///
Felix and his newly divorced mother move to a new neighborhood. And Hyunjin is their nerdy next door neighbor.

Summary
The guy is standing right there. He’s wearing a flannel shirt hanging off one shoulder over a white tank that’s become sheer from the water. His hair is a stark, bleached blonde, tousled by the salt air and the wind. His skin is honey-toned, as if he were carved from the beach itself. And freckles—he’s covered in them. His expression is soft, almost knowing.
He’s barefoot, his toes sinking into the wet sand, a silent challenge. Hyunjin lingers on him a beat too long.
"Or don't..." the boy adds, a playful shrug accompanying his words. "Looks like it's your funeral."
Hyunjin looks down at his city clothes. He feels like a glitch in the scenery.
"I wasn't planning on dying today," he finally answers, his English colored by the lilt he’d picked up from Chan.
"Good. That would’ve been a tragedy." The boy smiles, turning his gaze back to the vast blue.
