Summary
"...What, do I smell that bad?" Daniil asked, both doubtful and incredulous at the admission that Artemy really was sniffing him.
"No," Artemy answered instantly. "Not bad, just different. Couldn't tell if it was you or not."
An embarrassing rush of dopamine flooded Daniil all at once; why was it so appealing for Artemy to like the way he smelled? He knew he likely was nothing short of noxious, soaked in sweat and laboratory-grade chemicals and tobacco, but apparently Artemy didn't mind that.
"So?" Daniil urged, knowing how strange he must seem but powerless to stop himself from prodding at the weak spot. "What do I smell like, then?"
The lamplight danced like fireflies in Artemy's eclipsed eyes. "Pink."
Daniil raised an eyebrow. "Pink?"

Artemy canonically has a habit of smelling Daniil's moods in Pathologic 3. Horny is a mood.

Summary
"So..." Artemy heard himself begin from a distance before taking another small hit and blowing out a billowing cloud of incense. "Are you... Do you have a partner, then? A man?" His addled mind needed his clothes off as soon as physically possible, but it was difficult to discern if that was the euphoric part of the high goading him on or if it was his own perversion bleeding through his weakened defenses.
Daniil's rare grin was both audible and contagious when he replied, "Why do you want to know? You're awfully interested in my amorous affairs; I'm growing suspicious. De omnibus dubitandum."
—
Artemy is vexed by his late-night thoughts about Daniil. After they smoke some twyre together, Daniil obliges and answers his questions about bedding men.

Summary
"Yeah. I've been teaching the kid about the Kin traditional medicine, keeping him out of trouble the best I can. Though you'd probably say I'm indoctrinating him with backwater lies or some bullshit like that," Artemy spat.
Daniil contemplated for a second more. "I think we've been tricked."
Artemy chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. "Go on."
"Sticky is my apprentice, Burakh," Daniil revealed at last. "I have been teaching him pharmacology and medicine—or I've been trying to. Unless he has an evil twin like the Changeling, he's been two-timing us."
—
Sticky doesn't get why his mentors Daniil and Artemy are at each other's throats all the time. He takes matters into his own hands.

Summary
She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Are both of you bloodsuckers really so incompetent? Clearly, neither of you have any lofty moral objections to the act of killing, so what is it?"
"Somehow, the... uh, the wicked serpent always foresees my finding him. I guess I need to be faster next time if I want to catch him off-guard, so if you don't mind..." It was a good enough excuse, he thought. He'd workshop a better one with Dankovsky later.

Artemy and Daniil fake a rivalry to keep The Powers That Be at bay. Fighting turns out to be the best way to cover up a heated make out session. (Prompt: "Deception")

Summary
Daniil had seen bodies of every shape and size as a bachelor of medicine: healthy and diseased, child and elderly, tall and short, small and large. Nothing surprised him after a decade of training, since it was nothing he hadn't seen before in a textbook or in his laboratory.
However, Artemy Burakh's hands were the most perfect hands he'd ever seen in his life.
—
Artemy notices Daniil staring and offers to fix the microscope to prove how gentle his hands are. Their attempt at repair fails, but Daniil gets what he wants anyway.
