It’s been four years since Sunny voluntarily set foot outside. After eight semesters of online schooling, a brief stint as a 4chan janitor, an eating disorder, and a schizophrenia diagnosis, she finally feels like she’s found some equilibrium.
Living inside may be isolated, boring, and slowly driving her insane, but it sure beats leaving the house. Sunny has no intention of subjecting her old friends to suffer her presence. Putting them through more pain was the last thing she would ever do.
But hey, it’s not like any of that mattered. Sunny would never see any of them ever again, her parents had finally decided to move out of Faraway! It was the best news she’d gotten in years!
For once in her life, Sunny truly believed that everything was going to be ok. The moving vans would be there in just a week, and her Dad kept telling her how cool Nearby City was and how fun it'd be to live there. What's the worst that could happen before they leave?

Summary
Seven months after the truth was told and a few months after Kel and Sunny started talking again, the two of them arrange to meet up near Sunny's city. He sees him for the first time in a while, standing on the stone bridge with the small river underneath and the lovely dandelions peeking out between the cracks of the rocks. However, Kel's very own feelings are something that is going to make this a lot more complicated than it initially seems. He loves hanging out with Sunny, of course he does, but seriously, what on earth has he gotten himself into this time?!
"Sunny often made him fluster, or get all flushed in the face, or made Kel stop and admire him without even having to try. The thought of 'wow, he sure looks nice' was not a simple lapse of his judgment within his mind, or some sort of slip up. Kel thought Sunny was beautiful, both inside and out.
And that…well, that was when it truly hit him. Seriously, like a punch of truth right in the face.
Kel most certainly had a crush on his best friend."
