Summary
Levi’s eyes go back to the sports field where Mr. Smith is blowing the final whistle to end the game and rounding up his kids, getting them to gather up the equipment. The clock on the wall tells Levi there’s fifteen minutes left until lunch. He thinks about the maths teachers’ staff room, thinks about Oluo’s tuna mayo pasta salad that he microwaves every single day. Thinks about the teacher’s lounge where Erwin will most certainly be eating his healthy quinoa bullshit and chatting airily to the other teachers, greeting Levi with an easy smile as though - as though they haven’t -
He makes the decision to stay in his classroom for lunch.
Six months on from their lust-fuelled one-night stand, and Levi is still thinking about Erwin fucking Smith.
