“It’s curious…” he murmured almost silently, his gaze flicking down to my lips. “How my mind constantly diverts to thoughts of you. Do you have any idea why that might be?”
His sharp, calculating eyes snapped up to meet mine in an instant. Without his glasses on, I was able to fully appreciate how incredibly mesmerizing they were. His pupils dilated as though they were trying to suck me deeper into his allure, and I took a shaky breath before I replied.
“You’re the psychiatrist here, Doctor Crane. Don't you think you should be figuring that out yourself?”

He took a step towards me with that annoyingly smug grin on his face. Now less than a foot away from me, he tilted his head to the side causing a cascade of bubblegum pink hair to cover one side of his face. His lips parted and the warmth of his breath hit my face, contrasting with the bitter cold of the snowy tundra.
"𝙔𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜."➥ 𝗬/𝗻, a young nomadic traveller with a past that she can't remember arrives in the idyllic city-state of New L'manberg. After finding out that the country that she once thought to be peaceful isn't what it seems, our protagonist sets out on a journey to find the mysterious 'Blood God' that she'd heard stories whispered of.

This story is inspired by Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar because I'm a huge nerd and think that Brutus has a lot of similarities to Technoblade

Summary
Aurelia Bishop's life was going great. She'd just received a promotion at work and finally got out of renting cheap apartments by buying her first home at 26 years old. It was all she could have asked for! The house was spacious, spooky in its own gothic-architecture way, and seemed to have a plethora of secrets waiting for her to uncover...especially up in the attic that she didn't even know existed until she'd already moved in.
I cleared my throat and pushed my glasses back up the bridge of my nose.
“So I just…read this aloud, huh?” I asked the empty attic. “Alright, here goes nothing.”
Taking a deep breath, I put on my best dramatic voice and began reading the paragraph.
“Hear me, denizens of darkness, you who are born of shadow and you who give birth to it. Hear me and do as I command! I call upon you to send forth one of your number! I summon the Avatar of Pride, Lucifer, first-born Lord of Hell…"(yes this work used to have a different title and summary i didn't like it so i changed it)

After it has been decided that an election will be held to solidify power and trust in the state, Wilbur Soot, the current President of L'manberg, is confident in his political charisma. Almost too much so. Y/n on the other hand holds her reservations about this election.
