Summary
“Someone’s popular”, he pokes, sprinkling salt and pepper over the two bowls. George attempts a light huff in a response.
“Who’s been texting you so much?”, he tentatively tries again, moving to sit next to him and placing the bowl of mac and cheese in front of him as an almost peace offering, sensing from the tension in George that it’s not someone who he wants to be texting him.
Georges eyes linger on the pasta in front of him before once again reminding himself to get over himself. He’s being silly.
“Just some late birthday wishes”, he replies casually, though his shoulders stay stiff. Dream hooks an ankle around Georges and changes the conversation. -
