Summary
Another heat bubbles inside. It starts at his esophagus, scratching and clawing at the thick walls as it slithers further and further down Shane’s body. It infects every vein in Shane’s quickly loosening body. He feels like a hazy memory, like Ilya dreamt of him and manifested him in his lap.
