Mike turns around and sees Will standing in the middle of the hallway and stops.
"Hey," he says. "Can I help you find something?"
His voice in person is slightly different from the radio. This is the version before the edit. Louder, and a little breathless from arguing, and entirely unaware of how often Will had listened to him.
"I'm here about a logo commission," Will says. He sounds, he thinks, almost normal. Even with his brain operating at half-capacity.
Mike's eyebrows go up in surprise. "We're getting a new logo?"

After both Will Byers and Jane "El" Hopper sacrifice themselves in an effort to destroy Vecna, the Exotic Matter, and the Upside Down for good—Mike Wheeler wakes up in a reality where Will and Jane never existed. The longer he stays in this reality, the more his memories of all he's ever known, begin to fade forever. Mike and the rest of the party must fight one last time to reset their reality and rewrite the fate that they've been dealt.

Mike looked very alarmed. He was staring at Will as though he had grown a second head.
“Obviously…?” he said, “Are you feeling alright? Did your mom make you try her D-I-Y coffee again?”
When nineteen-year-old Will Byers wakes up to find himself in his forty-three-year-old body, he must—with no experience whatsoever—play the part of world-renowned freelance painter, father of two very troublesome teenagers, and most strangely of all: Mike Wheeler’s husband.
