After the chaos of Case 4, Team Confidence go their separate ways and Makoto elects to spend a few years traveling the world in search of the perfect variety of coffee beans to stock his future coffee shop with. Following him, however, is Laurent's inescapable influence and attempts to reach out, but all that Makoto's missing in his life is the ideal cup of coffee. Or, at least, that's what he tells himself. Summary
It's the easiest thing in the world to pretend- most people go through their whole lives without ever saying anything true. But sometimes the reverse is accurate too. After all, what makes liars great is how honest they can be. It's with this philosophy in mind that Laurent sets about being two steps ahead of everyone, but always turning around to check if Edamura is matching his pace.
