Erik just got that need to give Charles everything. It wasn't a basic return arrangement for what Charles gave him. Erik wanted to make the man feel good and take more and more of those unholy sounds he was making. He wanted to be a part of a bigger thing, push the events further, spend a night with that godly pretty man.
