Jeongin wondered what they were talking about. Inside jokes, and things Jeongin wouldn't understand. Things he wasn't part of anymore and fuck did that hurt more than he really expected it to. Aside from losing the possibility of being loved back, it felt like he was losing small pieces of Hyunjin that once only belonged to him.
Those late night conversations, or the small looks he'd give him across crowded rooms. The way Hyunjin used to seek him out first.. Now, Jeongin sat quietly in the background while his heart slowly broke.

Hyunjin has been at JYPE psychiatric facility for six months, and he has no intention of leaving.
