If Raimundo hadn't known Kimiko better, he'd think she was just fishing for a compliment, given that Omi and Clay had just sung her praises. As it was, he did know her better, especially if the glint in her blue eyes was anything to go by, and he suddenly felt very uncomfortable.

Summary
All her life, Sakura has been told stories of the family of Nohr, whose heartlessness led to her family's crushing debt. More infamous still are the rumors of the second son of Nohr, known only as the Creature.
"All right - I can see you are impatient. I will be brief." The white-haired man paused. Sakura fought the tremble at her fingertips as he suddenly smirked. "If you offer your youngest sister to the youngest son of the Nohr, all debts will be forgiven."

Summary
“You’re late,” Masako spat out as the samurai finally rolled into the farm, resplendent in blue and white armour. She used the old katana to push herself to her feet. Chipped and poorly sharpened by her hand, it’d served her better than she’d thought it would, though it had snapped inside the chest of the last man she’d cut down.
The young man in furs and a striped blue headband at the head of the samurai contingent surveyed the bodies littering the fields, then looked Masako over in disbelief. “Did you kill all these men?”
Masako glowered at him. Covered in blood, mud, and sweat, her haori ruined beyond repair, she was in no mood to coddle a man, let alone one so over-bred. “Surprise,” she said, curling her lip.
