Roxy tapped on the plain surface of the compartment wall, and a hologram hovered over it, showing a video of the whole process. Callie had started spinning around her own axis at some point — that made sense — and Roxy had caught her on the front of the shuttle they were now in. She watched a huge robotic arm move her shifting form towards the cargo bay door and pass her in as she coalesced into a steady form. A number popped up — 1.5e11 → 4.9e0.
Five meters. Calliope was five meters long in this form. It was big — her body was as thick as Roxy’s torso in places — but it was so much smaller than she ever would have imagined this form being.
