    They were drunk, they were having fun, Suowei had even laughed it off, but Chi Cheng hadn’t laughed. Hadn’t even moved much. He’d just paused—glass halfway to his mouth, the amber liquid catching the dim overhead light—and his dark eyes lifted quietly locking onto Wu Suo Wei with that familiar, heavy intensity.
