“Alright! Hellooooo, and welcome back to another session of Campus Confessions!” Yeonjun says. “I’m your host Yeonjun, and this my little minion Soobin. Say hi, Soobin!”
“Hi,” Soobin says. “I’m taller than you.”
“The listeners can’t see us, so you can’t prove it! I guess we’ll never know,” Yeonjun replies, grinning. “Today we have a very exciting episode ahead. We got some very juicy confessions from our anonymous listeners! Don’t worry, Soobin and I are here to help you with any love dilemmas, big or small.”Yeonjun’s voice takes on this odd tone that Soobin can’t quite place, and his eyes don’t leave the script. Usually he stops to make a joke or ask Soobin for his opinion during the confessions, but this time he just reads the entire thing without stopping.
“Hello. I’ve been friends with this guy, and we’re very close. I feel like I’m always the one who organizes our hangouts, while he just goes with the flow. I really like him, but I don’t know how he feels about me. I can’t tell if he’s just tolerating me or if he actually enjoys my company. Yeonjun smiled again when they finally made it halfway to the second floor. "It really sucks that this stupid school's elevator never works," he said. "This is so not disability friendly. What a douche of a school." He grinned when Soobin huffed. "Anyways, how did you get that?" He asked, pointing at Soobin's crutch, curiously.
"Oh this?" Soobin asked back. Despite being a little anxious, he could feel how Yeonjun was actively trying to engage with him and he felt less intimidated by his little crushing situation. "I jumped from a mango tree and landed the wrong way."
When they reached the second floor, Yeonjun just looked at Soobin with wide eyes, as if amused. "You what?"

Summary
In the K-pop industry, stability is everything.

"I thought about asking you out, back when you dyed your hair." Soobin lifts his head, startled. Yeonjun is smiling, small, almost shy. He raises a hand to push some of Soobin's fringe off his eyes.
"The blond hair really did it for you, didn't it?" Soobin jokes, trying to sound nonchalant.
He's not. He had blond hair in their second year. That was two years ago.
Yeonjun giggles. "It was a very good look. And with the glasses? Delectably nerdy." Soobin rolls his eyes and nuzzles back onto Yeonjun's chest. He's taller than the other, so he needs to bend his knees to keep his feet inside the bed, but he doesn't really care about that.
"Why didn't you?" Soobin asks after a while. "I would have said yes."
OR, on the night of graduation, Soobin and Yeonjun come to terms with all the time they lost.
