    Venomshank sat on edge. His mask was off for once, showing his worried face as he chewed on his long claws. Sword wasn't there. He was rarely ever late, and even when he was it wasn't anymore than an hour.

    Something was terribly wrong.

    Blood dripped down her face, though no pain rattled through her skull. A small mercy given to her, from the suggestion of The Broker, so they called him.

    Vinestaff swore an oath.

    One that would not be taken back.

     

    Alternate universe where Shuriken takes a deal with Broker, causing Vinestaff and him to seek shelter from their furious neighbor in the heart of the TRUE EYE.
