Summary
Most things that walk this part of the forest are dead.
The hares and squirrels, the birds and bears. Their skeletons rise from the dirt to make a second life here, where nature’s magic pulses strong.
There are exceptions, of course. There is Namjoon, the demon in the extradimensional cottage who guides each animal through death and rebirth and death again.
And then there’s Jeongguk, this jack-of-all-trades city boy with pretty eyes, pretty bones, and a pretty heart that Namjoon swears beats differently from his own. So excited and real and alive.
Perhaps more alive than Namjoon knows how to handle.

Summary
Seokjin doesn’t get comfortable. He flirts with anyone who casts a second glance at him. He has torrid love affairs with cities, shaking up infrastructure and street corners. He leaves everything just a little less settled than when he arrived.
And yet, when he and Yoongi wake up together, they fall into their morning routine like they’ve been married for twenty years. They disguise themselves with illusion magic and hide the money they stole last night in all sorts of secret pockets on their bodies before they go to see Taehyung and his dragons.
And yet, Seokjin feels so comfortable next to Yoongi no matter where they end up traveling.
That’s a problem.

“This is wrong.” He whispers with a shake of his head. “Namjoon, we need to stop this.”
Namjoon’s jaw clenches as he regards him heavily, with much more grief than Jungkook would like. “If I knew how to stop, I would” is the reply he gets. He sees the want in Namjoon’s eyes, swirling with conflict, and Jungkook doesn’t understand how Namjoon could want him this bad, so heartbreakingly bad -
And still not want him at all.
“Let’s get back to the party, hyung. Your fiance must be looking for you."

Namjoon is getting married and it's not to Jungkook, but somehow he always finds himself waking up in his bed.
